A-n-o-t-h-e-r Quilt in first 5 months of 2023

This is a quilt with history. About 17 or 18 years ago, Carol and Gary said their wedding vows. Before marriage Carol asked family and friends to create a 6X6 inch aida memory block. Well, this many years later, I was asked to redesign the original quilt.

My imagination is rather limited, but came up with this quilt trying not to damage the original designs. It has been returned to them and hope they enjoy it for years to come. The fun comes in looking at the blocks and thinking about the friends and family who created a block.

(I could not quilt on the 6 by 6 blocks due to buttons, paint, lace, etc. that were added to the block.)

More Baby Quilts

Baby quilts completed first months of 2023.

Above quilt was for Wells

Close up of two blocks in a couple of the above quilts.

This bib was for Nora Clay. I am now working on her a girly quilt.

Busy the first of months of 2023

Wish I had a better photo. The background of this quilt is white. I loved this quilt! I inserted a panel I received with the fat quarter bundle as part of the background. This was a baby quilt for Kinley, my great niece. I started making family baby quilts a little larger.

Last Quilt of 2022

Here is my last quilt of 2022. I enjoyed getting back to quilting. This was a quilt for a special couple in our church. They married at Christmas and I made one of my "go to" quilts--a jelly roll Christmas quilt. Size is about 42" by 56", I think.
